Sunrise in the Herrenhausen Gardens, which open just this once at 5 a.m. for a special morning ritual. In the early hours, on the invitation of the KunstFestSpiele, the annual Fuchsbau Festival of future-oriented music, art and debate by young artists explores how human beings and machines can work together productively. What might a post-digital future look like, undetermined by the digital sell-out and the poser of autonomous AI systems?
The installation BODIES AND SUBWOOFERS (B.A.S.) ushers in the morning at sunrise with a vibrating experience between sound, body and environment. Afterwards, the Italian performance collective Fronte Vacuo invites the audience to move through the Herrenhausen Gardens with Humane Methods [MμRMUR]to unfold a quiet, ritualistic search for post-human empathy.
The breakfast that follows is an opportunity to take stock, share experiences and make contact. The morning ends with a special musical interaction: DJ Kikelomo and the A Song For You Choir from Berlin weave electronic sounds and choral singing into an ecstatic mix that sets the audience lightly on their way.
